The First Signs Of Spring

After a crazy winter, or rather, the lack of a winter (it snowed a whole 3 times I think), I found myself looking for something out there that it following along the normal routine. The first signs of Spring (officially). Since I can’t determine the arrival of spring by the temperature, I went on a look out for the usual signs; the robins returning, tree buds are fattening up and flowers are starting to sprout… or bloom.

The best part that I anticipate is when I am driving or walking around and most of the trees and plants do not yet have their colors and there is still that barren look of winter… except for these bursts of yellow everywhere – the crocus flowers, the daffodils and the forsythia.

Here are my first signs of spring:
